Julie Goldman

DR. JULIE GOLDMAN earned a B.A. and a M.A. from the George Washington University. In addition, she received a Masters of Education and a Doctorate of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Working in the Welfare-to-Work field for many years, Dr. Goldman yearned for entrepreneurship. After her 2000 wedding, she was inspired to launch The Original Runner Company, to provide the world with the first non-slip fabric aisle runners for weddings and special events. After only five years, The Original Runner Company has sold over $3 million in her unique aisle runners worldwide. The overwhelming success of The Original Runner Company has resulted in Dr. Goldman receiving the “Make Mine a Million” business award from Count Me In as well as being featured in Crain’s NY Business, NY Daily News, Lifetime Television, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch and the WE channel. Dr. Goldman celebrates this success with her wonderfully supportive husband and adorable three-year old daughter named Jagger.
