Fluid Core Class at Wellbody, Union Square, NYC

FLUID CORE
 
Create a supple, stable core through various explorations and gentle exercises that focus on opening and hydrating the psoas (SO-AS) and its complementary muscles in subtle yet profound ways. Group classes are created to tap into physical and emotional stress while instilling a sense of curiosity and play.

 
We'll use various props such as the SLO-MO ball, soft foam roller, chairs and yoga blocks. But we'll also use the floor and the wall and our breath.You will learn about what the Psoas is, does and affects. You will improve your proprioception, or "body sense" - your inner GPS. You will create fluidity in the body. You will tap into stuck emotional stress. You will develop your sense of curiosity. You will reduce your physical pain.
